Students of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai, participated in the 56th Annual IIT Sports Meet 2023, held at IIT Bombay and IIT Gandhinagar. Our top athletes competed in basketball, volleyball, chess, table tennis, athletics, cricket, football, weightlifting, and badminton. Demonstrating sheer determination and teamwork, IIT Bhilai advanced to the quarter-finals in football. Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai is back with the third edition of Prayatna – “PRAYATNA 6.0”, the annual intra institute sports tournament. The main motive behind this three months long competition is to promote healthy competition among the students.Prayatna 6.0, organized by the Sports Council of IIT Bhilai, was inaugurated on February 3, 2023 in the venerating presence of Prof. Rajiv Prakash, Director, IIT Bhilai and among other esteemed guests.
